Who doesn’t like maraca shaking, sombrero wearing dinosaurs, who sport mustaches?

Coming Soon

A sneak peek at my self promotion project…

Did a Screen Printing Course at 3rd Ward down in Brooklyn this weekend.  It was a really fun refresher and I can’t wait to get back into it at home.  Here’s the print I did of my father’s original Flatlander tshirt drawing from 1975. Just need to get me some ink and shirts so I can whip up some shirts for sale.

When we moved into our amazing Sunnyside apartment the main room already had two bare boned sconces with no covers.  Seeing as looking at them was comparable to staring at the sun, I created these covers using wood, frosted duralar, and old vacation slides from the 60’s & 70’s (found in a little shop in Williamsburg, Brooklyn).  I’m not exactly a carpenter, nor do I have any sophisticated tools, but I think they still turned out great!

Beautiful red Idea Book from my father Bruce Mau's signature!

The last time I remember collecting signatures was along time ago at Disney World, Tom & Jerry, Cinderella, Minnie Mouse… and now Bruce Mau!  I asked him to sign my sketchbook for good mojo, as well as bought his book Massive Change which he signed and I started reading. Although his talk tonight at Pratt  and his book are a little overwhelming I feel tons of wonderful ideas brewing in my noggin.  I’m super pumped to start designing my future so that I can eventually work on changing the world.

This shirt on shirt.woot makes me really happy.  One I used to love my little ponies and still have them all somewhere and two I got to visit the statues of the 4 horses of the apocalypse in Italy.
